Part-time Lay Minister of Elder Care

(Ministry care of church members 65 and over)

The Lay Minister of Elder Care is a salaried, 18 hours per week, 47 weeks per year position whose specific responsibility is to offer pastoral care and program related activities for the elderly of IUCC. This position is in coordination with the ministry team which includes the pastor, music director and office secretary. As an extension and enhancement of the pastoral duties of the congregation, the Lay Minister of Elder Care will report directly to the pastor as well as be accountable to the church council.

Director of Youth & Family Ministries

Salem UCC, Plymouth

Responsibilities include directing and leading youth; overseeing Christian Education ministries; and development and direction of activities and events for all ages in the church family.

Approximately 25 hours per week, includes some evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications include background in Christian Education, experience preferred; understanding of United Church of Christ tradition/polity; good organization and communication skills; and outgoing personality and ability to work well with children, youth and adults.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
