Who Are We

The Northeast Wisconsin Association is a gathering of 58 United Church of Christ congregations - from Waupun in the southwest to Sheboygan in the southeast to Marinette in the northeast to Shawano in the northwest to Hancock in the west. The congregations vary in size from 43 members to 1800+ members. Each congregation is an independent unit, but has a covenantal relationship
with the others and with the wider church.

The Association assists churches who are seeking pastors, oversees students who are preparing for ministry, is a resource for pastors and congregations, plans various programmatic events, administers a budget (supported by dues from each church), and is a liaison between congregations and the wider church.
The Association office is centrally located in Appleton.

The Association is one of four Associations in the Wisconsin Conference United Church of Christ. The Conference office is in DeForest, near Madison.
